Company leverages intellectual capital to assist wireless carriers bring
next generation services to market sooner; more cost effectively
MCLEAN, VIRGINIA, February 2, 2006 – LCC International, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCCI), a global leader in wireless voice and data technical solutions, announced today that it is introducing tools and related services geared towards enabling broadband carriers to bring emerging data, video and other 3G applications to market sooner in a more efficient and cost effective manner.
Utilizing proprietary tools developed by LCC’s Research and Development group, the Company is rolling out a suite of asset-based services. These services have been specifically designed to address wireless networks challenged by high-bandwidth and high capacity applications.
LCC’s asset-based services better assist carriers to evaluate technology, equipment and implementation options for fixed and mobile broadband systems. Using its proprietary analysis methodologies and dimensioning tools, LCC’s clients will be able to estimate the network infrastructure required to support specified coverage and capacity requirements.
By equipping LCC’s highly skilled engineers with powerful tools, its clients will have a unique view of their proposed network including business case analysis and assumptions on overall capital and operating expenditures. Capabilities provided by this type of rare insight will greatly assist carriers evaluating spectrum choices in the FCC’s upcoming Advanced Wireless Services auctions as well as those evaluating broadband deployments to provide fixed and mobile wireless Internet services.

Over the coming months the Company will continue to deploy similar innovative tools that its consultants will build practice areas around.
