LCC International Expands its European Presence
Company Acquires Detron Belgium
MCLEAN, VIRGINIA, January 03, 2007 -- LCC International, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCCI), a global leader in wireless consulting and turn-key network management services, announced today it has acquired Belgium-based Detron Corporation BV from Detron Corporation BV and Excicom BvbA. This acquisition will extend LCC’s global reach with the delivery of services in the Belgium and Luxemburg region.
Detron Belgium has been providing technical services to the telecommunications industry in the region since 2002. Focused on both wireless and fixed networks, Detron’s offering aligns well with LCC’s and includes technical consultancy, deployment, performance, operations and maintenance and project management services to both public network and business customers. Detron Belgium will now operate as LCC Belgium and will maintain its existing facilities.
