Receptionist
 Job Title: Receptionist

Job Location: McLean, VA

Responsibilities include:
  • Operates telephone to answer, screen and forward calls, provide information, and record messages.
  • Answers inquiries and obtains information for general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties.
  • Greets persons entering the office, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs visitors to specific destinations.
  • Transmits information or documents to customers, using email, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Provides information regarding activities conducted at the office; location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.
Required Experience:
  • Previous experience with a multi-line switchboard.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interact at all levels in the organization.
Desired Experience:
  • Knowledgeable in administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, managing files and records, designing forms, and other administrative office activities.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present a friendly attitude and interact with people in a positive manner.
  • Good organization skills; ability to work multiple activities.
  • Solid detail-oriented skills with ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for at least seven hours per day and work from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
  • Ability to work designated schedule, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality.
