2.5G/3G Technology Evolution

Curriculum: An evolving 2.5G to 3G migration curriculum that builds on the strong foundation laid in our core wireless engineering curriculum (DOC). It combines essential theory with the field know-how captured from over two decades of LCC’s worldwide design and deployment experience.

Audience: This curriculum is aimed at RF engineers who have completed our core wireless engineering curriculum (DOC) or are otherwise experienced in the design and optimization of 2.5G networks and who need to upgrade their knowledge and skills to be able to engineer the emerging 3G networks.

Prerequisites: A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent preparation in communications, electromagnetics, Mathematics (such as differential equations, probability, and statistics), and the engineering design principles, followed by substantial 2G network design and optimization experience.
