We are currently looking for UMTS Design Engineers with the following background:

Description of responsibilities:

• UMTS Site/Network design  using Atoll or Arieso
• Knowledge of GSM frequency planning, GSM interference array creation
• Model tuning
• Understand the process on how to select antenna
• Good understanding of link budget
• Experience using Aircom Asset3G, PlanetEV, Atoll
• Understanding of signaling in between different interface specially Uu, lub, lur, lu-C and lu-P
• Experience in working with different RAB services – CS, PS, HSDPA
• Neighbor and scrambling code creation within the planning tools.
  

Experience & skills required:

• Minimum 3-5 years of RF experience. 
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in radio network design, implementation and tuning/optimization on WCDMA systems
• Have used the ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) tool, preferably Radio Plan Arieso
• Ability to make recommendations to improve a network design (cell plan)
• Detailed understanding of Monte Carlos Analysis
• Experience in scrambling code and neighbor planning

Education required (minimum): BSEE                                                           

Education desired: MSEE/MBA
