Qualification:
- BE in Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics or equivalent from a recognized engineering university
- Post Graduations in one of the above discipline will be an asset.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Tools Knowledge:
- Very Good understanding of Wireless Transport, Backbone transport (DWDM SDH), IP/MPLS, Internet from Operator’s point of view.
- In depth knowledge of fixed and mobile transport network solutions and architecture
- Experience for high, medium and low capacity transport network planning/design (for both core and access transport networks
- Dimensioning and planning of transport/transmission networks.
- Capacity provisioning for packet networks as per requirements.
- Overall transport network management and bandwidth optimization.
- KPI definition and performance monitoring for direct reports.
Years of Experience Required:
- At least 1 to 2 years experience on 3G Transport (IP transport networks) and at least 9 to 11+ experience on MPLS, and backbone transport networks
- 9 years in Transport Design
- 5 Years in Sr. managerial Position
Others:
- Experience with Ericsson, NSN, Huawei, ALU, Cisco, Juniper and other major transport equipment suppliers are highly desirable. Tender preparation experience on relevant equipment is necessary
