The introduction of 3G networks across the globe has introduced mobile users to a new world of broadband applications, including video streaming, music, downloading large files and on-the-road connectivity through VPNs or office networks across the country.  The 3G standard for existing GSM networks is UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System).

LCC has extensive experience in designing and deploying UMTS networks, either as Greenfield or Overlay networks.  Not only did LCC design the world's first GSM network, it also designed some of the first UMTS networks in 2000-2002 and continues to be the primary vendor for UMTS network optimization.  In addition to Greenfield networks, LCC helps existing GSM operators migrate from GSM to UMTS, using state of the art methodologies and tools and unrivaled experience.
